The Southampton International Airport is 7 km northeast of the city.
Train: The airport is right next to the railway station in Southampton, making it the closest station to the airport in Europe. You can walk from one to the other. From the station there are three trains every hour to Waterloo and there are also connections to other destinations.
Bus: Bus 101 is a regular service between the airport, Southampton University and the city center, with up to two services per hour.
